Some of the best in Greece are in Santorini. In Athens my favourite time to wander around Plaka (the area around the Acropolis) is at night when it's cooled down a little. Try hard to avoid the tourist restaurants around Plaka, but there are a few ... I've never been, but please – oh please – try the Kavalari Hotel on Santorini if you can. It's on my list.
