From Rome we took a train up to Florence where we saw Michelangelo's David in all his glory and other great works of art, and then shopped til we dropped. Then it was back to Rome where we then flew to Athens and later on to Crete. ... The highlight and most memorable part of the entire trip took place in Athens.
